Often in my shamanic journeys, during the early morning hours, I encounter the spirits of cetaceans — whales and dolphins. They wordlessly exude such wisdom and trust in the “big picture” I always enjoy basking in their presence. This morning, I was shown a beautiful vision of dolphins leaping for joy over the surrounding mountains of northern New Mexico.
Couldn’t resist a quick pen and ink drawing. Was also reminded of a lovely Douglas Adams quote:
“…On the planet Earth, man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much – the wheel, New York, wars and so on – whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man — for precisely the same reasons.”
